Do you cover the entire Coachella Valley?
Yes — from Desert Hot Springs and Palm Springs at the west and north end, through Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, Indian Wells and La Quinta, out to Indio and Coachella in the east, including Thousand Palms and Bermuda Dunes.
Do you appraise unincorporated Riverside County properties?
Yes. Bermuda Dunes and Thousand Palms are unincorporated, and several pockets between the incorporated cities are as well. These parcels need particular care: they often share ZIP codes with adjacent cities, and county permit history is frequently less complete than a city's, so improvements have to be verified rather than assumed.
Do you charge more for cities farther from Indio?
No. Fees are based on the complexity of the assignment, not the distance to the property, and there is no travel surcharge between Coachella Valley cities. A Palm Springs assignment and an Indio assignment of equal complexity cost the same.
Do you appraise properties outside the Coachella Valley?
Yes. This site covers the Coachella Valley practice of Brian Ward Appraisal, which also serves San Diego County and western Riverside County from brianward.com. If your property sits outside the valley, call and we will tell you directly whether we can take the assignment.
